Early Life and Education
Abhay Singh hails from Haryana, India. He completed his schooling at DH Lawrence Senior Secondary School and later attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for his senior secondary education. Demonstrating exceptional academic prowess, he secured admission to IIT Bombay, one of India’s premier engineering institutions, where he specialized in aerospace engineering.
Professional Career
After graduating, Abhay Singh worked in Canada for three years starting in 2019, earning a substantial salary of approximately ₹3 lakh per month. Despite his professional success, he grappled with depression during this period, which led him to question the deeper meaning of life and the workings of the mind. This introspection became a catalyst for his shift towards spirituality.
Transition to Spirituality
Deeply affected by domestic conflicts during his upbringing, particularly disputes between his parents, Abhay sought solace in spirituality. He believed that understanding spirituality through the lens of science could offer answers to his existential questions. This perspective eventually led him to renounce his domestic life and immerse himself in spiritual practices.
Current Endeavors
At the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, Abhay Singh gained prominence as “IIT Baba.” He has been vocal about his mission to bridge the gap between science and spirituality, aiming to offer a holistic understanding of existence.
